ANNOUNCEMENT - 2020 EDITION SUSPENDED

Family,

The latest information that we have for you, the people who have made the Rototom Sunsplash adventure possible for almost three decades, is not the good news that we had hoped for. We have suspended this year’s event. The current international health crisis does not permit the festival to be held this summer. 

We have worked up to the last minute for a memorable edition wrapped in a hopeful theme, We can change the world, but this shared dream will have to wait.

A Rototom Sunsplash without hugs would not be Rototom. It would lose its essence, something that we want to preserve. We have therefore put the 2020 edition hold, but not our efforts and the desire to continue.

A difficult year awaits us. After months of work by a large team to organize the festival this summer, it is time to reactivate the machinery to prepare for the next edition. We have enthusiasm and energy, but we need more than ever to continue counting on the support and involvement that you have shown us these 27 years. You have helped us to overcome every obstacle along the way.

Acquiring your ticket in advance was already a gesture of confidence. Transforming it now into a direct passport to Rototom Sunsplash 2021 would give us oxygen to build your next reggae holiday in Benicàssim. It would go a long way to ensuring that this dream does not end.

However, we know that the current situation is complicated for everyone and that maintaining your ticket is not an option for some of you. On our Rototom Sunsplash website we have published our guide on how to manage ticket refunds and any related questions.

We promise you a memorable 27th edition, more exciting than ever, and we will fulfil our part of the deal: from August 16 to 22, 2021 in Benicàssim.

While waiting, we have the illusion that there might be surprise capable of accelerating our reunion and comforting the disappointment of suspending the festival. Hopefully we can communicate it very soon.

Where and when will Rototom Sunsplash 2021 take place?
La 27ème édition du Rototom Sunsplash aura lieu du 16 au 22 Août 2021 à Benicàssim (Espagne).
Why has the festival been suspended?
Hemos intentado hasta el último minuto poder llevar a cabo esta edición en las fechas programadas.
After carefully evaluating all the options and taking into account the international alarm situation and Spanish regulations, this is the only possible decision to fully guarantee the health and safety of all festival goers, artists and teams involved in Rototom Sunsplash.
Will the 2020 edition line-up be maintained?
We are currently working with confirmed artists to reschedule them in 2021. In the next two months we will reconfirm the artists that were already announced and we will also announce those that were confirmed, but not announced.
Is my 2020 ticket valid?
All types of tickets are valid for the new dates. You simply have to reconfirm your ticket for the next edition here.
Tickets not reconfirmed or refunded once the deadlines pass will be automatically validated for 2021, although in this case their owners will not enjoy the gift we offer to those who reconfirm their entry within the established deadlines.

When do advance tickets go on sale for Rototom Sunsplash 2021?
Tickets for Rototom Sunsplash 2021 will go on sale on June 10 at the same price they had in March 2020. For more information see the festival website.
I will not be able to attend Rototom Sunsplash 2021, what can I do?
If you cannot attend, you can request a refund of your ticket here.
How long do I have to claim my refund?
You can request a refund between June 10 and August 23, 2020, inclusive.
Claims made after this deadline will not be processed and the tickets will be automatically validated to 2021, although in this case they will not enjoy the gift we offer to those who reconfirm their ticket within the established deadlines.
How long will it take for my refund to be processed?
Refunds will begin to be processed on August 9, 2020.

Where will the money be returned?
Refunds will be made to the original card used for payment. If you no longer have access to this card, contact entradas@notikumi.com.
If I have purchased multiple tickets, can I keep some Rototom Sunsplash 2021 tickets and request a refund for others?
Yes.
Will the full amount I have paid be refunded?
The total cost of the ticket/s and complement/s (camping, plot, camper...) associated with your ticket will be refunded. Management costs are not included, as the ticket issuance service has already been completed.
Will the complements (camping, pitch, camper, ...) be refunded?

What about Glamping?

What about the Reggae Pack?
 Reggae Pack is not refunded.
I have not received the email. What can I do?
Check your spam folder. If you did not receive an email on June 10, please contact entradas@notikumi.com indicating the locator of your ticket.
Where do I find my locator? 
Your locator is included in the purchase confirmation email.
I have lost my locator, what should I do? 
Please look for 'Rototom or' Notikumi 'in your inbox and don't forget to also check your spam folder. If you can't find it, please contact entradas@notikumi.com, so that your ticket(s) and/or the confirmation email can be forwarded to your email address.
For security, tickets will only be forwarded to the emails from which the tickets were purchased: contact Notikumi from the same email account that you used to buy your tickets.
I cannot access the email account I used to buy my tickets. 
Contact entradas@notikumi.com, indicating the names of the people linked to those tickets and the last 4 numbers of the bank card with which the purchase was made so that they can resend your ticket(s) and/or the confirmation email to your email address.
